Things people ask us about the boat and the bay

No. Nothing is charged online. You send a request, we confirm by WhatsApp, and you pay on board on the day, in cash or by card.

Fill in the form on the home page and send it to us on WhatsApp, or just write to us or call. We answer the same day, usually much faster.

Once we reply. Until then the request is only a request, so wait for the confirmation before you plan the day round it.

If today's departure has not left yet, yes. Call rather than write, it gets to us quicker.

Tell us as soon as you know. Nothing has been charged, so there is nothing to refund and nothing to argue about.

Yes, on board. Cash works too.

Six days a week. There is no departure on Saturday, when Katica rests and the crew get their day.

Between six and nine hours, depending on the route. Monday is the shortest, 10:00 to 16:00. Friday is the long one, 09:00 to 18:00.

By 16:00 on Monday, 17:00 on Thursday and Sunday, 17:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 18:00 on Friday.

From Šetalište Pine in Tivat, the waterfront promenade, in front of Hotel Astoria. Look for the red and white boat.

Some routes pick guests up in Bijela or on the Herceg Novi side. Ask when you book and we will tell you whether your day does.

Yes. Forty minutes on the island at Gospa od Škrpjela on every route of the week, and on most days an hour or more in Perast or Kotor as well.

No. Katica sails the Bay of Kotor itself, and the Blue Cave is outside it, round on the open sea side of the Luštica peninsula. If a cave is what you came for, ours is the wrong boat and we would rather say so than sell you the wrong day.

Every route of the week does, for forty minutes ashore. Gospa od Škrpjela is the church on the man made island off Perast, and it is the one stop all six days have in common.

Take Tuesday for the longest time in Kotor, Thursday or Sunday for the swim, Friday for the longest day on the water, Monday if you only have half of one.

With a seat with lunch, yes: lunch, dessert and a drink. A seat only, without lunch, is also available at a lower price.

Fish, cooked on board during the crossing and served at the table, with dessert and a drink after it.

Yes. A seat without lunch is 20 € for anyone thirteen and over, 10 € from six to twelve, and free under six.

Children under six travel free, and their lunch is 7 €. From six to twelve a seat is 10 €, or 15 € with lunch. From thirteen it is the adult price.

Yes. Families, groups of friends and whole agency groups all sail on the ordinary departures. Tell us the numbers when you book.

Yes. Weddings, birthdays, company days. Tell us the date and how many you are and we will send a quote.

We call you the evening before on the number you booked with, and we find you another day.

Swimwear and a towel on the swim days, a hat and sunscreen for the top deck. There is shade on the lower deck if you want it.

Yes. The lower deck has shade and a seat at a table. The top deck is open to the sun. You can move between them whenever you like.

A little before the boarding time. Boarding is from 10:00, and from 09:00 on Wednesday and Friday. Katica leaves on time.
